Tuesday, July 1, 7:30 in Barnwell Chapel. The Franklin Pond Quartet will open the concert with Haydn Quartet Op. 20 #2, and the Gershwin Lullaby, then the College Festival Sextet will perform the Brahms Sextet #1 in Bb Major, Op. 18. The concert is free and open to the public.
June 16, 2014: The new College Festival program started this week with the first coaching session by Jun-Ching Lin. Congratulations to the members of the Franklin Pond Quartet and our director, Ronda Respess, on a beautiful performance with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall! On April 30, the ASO performed Britten’s War Requiem with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus at New York’s Carnegie Hall.
