Faculty News

Right after our Summer Finale Concert, Lachlan McBane went to Cleveland to play with the Cleveland Orchestra. This is the second time he has been invited to play with them, thanks to Principal Violist Wesley Collins who went to Cleveland several years ago from Atlanta. Wesley was also on the faculty of Franklin Pond.

In-Home Concert

The S4zando Quartet, a wonderful student quartet from Fall Into Spring, played at the home of Barbara and Jim MacGinnitie, loyal supporters of both Franklin Pond and the Atlanta Symphony. Bravo Homeschool Strings Concert

Our Fall Into Spring manager, Lachlan McBane, conducted a concert of his Bravo Homeschool Strings on Monday, May 10. Tanya Clements played Telemann Viola Concerto with them. The whole evening was really lovely. Good work, Lachlan and Tanya!

Faculty Travels to New York City with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Some Franklin Pond faculty members traveled to New York City with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to play at the Robert Shaw 100th Birthday Celebration concert at Carnegie Hall. What an event! They all loved playing there!
