Right after our Summer Finale Concert, Lachlan McBane went to Cleveland to play with the Cleveland Orchestra. This is the second time he has been invited to play with them, thanks to Principal Violist Wesley Collins who went to Cleveland several years ago from Atlanta. Wesley was also on the faculty of Franklin Pond.

Jessica Oudin and her husband Alex Wasserman have spent a loving and enjoyable summer with their new baby Bradley. Jessica got right back into playing at the Festival Mozaic in San Luis Obispo, California.

On Saturday, September 9,  Jun-Ching Lin is the chamber music workshop artist at the North Fulton Music Teachers Association Music Symposium organized by Shu-Ling Chen (don’t give a time — he’s not there all day)

Greetings from Santa Cruz, California and the Cabrillo Festival from Justin Bruns, Brad Ritchie, and Ginny Fairchild. They tell us the 3-week new music festival is hard work (learning and playing a lot of new music in a short period of time), but a lot of fun.

Danny Laufer, Paul Murphy, and Cathy Lynn are just home from the Grand Teton Music Festival. We’re sure it too was a lot of work, but very rewarding and the scenery and hiking wasn’t too bad either!
