Theofandis: Symphony No. 1 & Lieberson: Neruda Songs

2011 Summer Kick-off!

It was great to see the parents, faculty, staff and students all gathered for the start to our summer program Sunday, June 26.  Jun-Ching led us through the rehearsal workshop.  The “Rehearsal Techniques” workshop notes are posted on the website under the “For Students” section, but, if you need them, you can click here.

July 30 &31: Jekyll Island

We are all set for Jekyll Island again this summer. Concerts are July 30th and 31st. Head to the Georgia coast and listen to some great music.

Wednesday, July 27: Mt. Vernon Towers

The students are looking forward to performing at the Mt. Vernon Towers on Wednesday, July 27. We are scheduled to perform at 4:00 p.m.. This will be the third student summer performance.

New Board Member!

We are delighted to recognize the newest trustee to our board, Jun-Ching Lin. Jun-Ching has been a faithful and tireless advocate, coach, auditioner, repertoire setter and mentor for Franklin Pond for many years. We are indebted to him for all his work and loyalty.  It will be wonderful to have him on the board, too.

Golijov: Tenebrae
