The concert is free and open to the public.  It is organized and presented by 12 Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra alumni who are currently majoring in music performance at schools all over the country (Rice University, Cleveland Institute, Juilliard, Eastman, and the McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University).  They will perform movements from works by Schubert, Smetana, Beethoven, Kodaly, Debussy, and Tschaikovsky, ending with the Mendelssohn Octet.
