July 25, 2012: Student Community Concert at Huntcliff Summit
Yes, we have two concerts at the same time. Aren’t we lucky to have so much talent at once! We are happy to be back at Huntcliff this year. Our student quartet will play some familiar standards like Bach Air, the “Habanera” from “Carmen” and the Copland “Hoedown”. Though most of the repertoire is familiar, there is a new twist. They will play a piece written for Franklin Pond called “Insecta” (the insects of the pond) by Eddie Horst who has written music for Pearl Jam, REM, Bruce Springstein and Cartoon Network among much more. It will be a lively performance! This concert is free and open to the public.
