What is the BandApp?

The BAND app is a members only communication tool.  It offers features like group messaging, shared calendars, photo albums, file sharing, and event planning.  Essentially, it helps groups stay connected and organized by providing a central platform for communication and information sharing.

It is a closed system, so the only people sharing content are the members of that group.  For Franklin Pond, the staff, coaches, students, and parents will be able to connect without outside content or spam getting in the way.

Who can use the Band app?

All STUDENTS, PARENTS, STAFF, and COACHES at Franklin Pond will be able to communicate through Band.  Of course, texting, emails, and phone calls are still an option! The Band app just offers an online community space for everyone.

Why is FPCM using the BandApp?

2025 is our first year of using the app. We will be posting updated information about the program, new performance opportunities, pictures, and lots of other pieces of info.  We encourage all students, parents, and coaches to do the same!  You can share pictures, chat with other students and parents, and ask any questions you have.  Think of it as a large text group without the constant text alert beeps!

How do I get started on the Band app?

The Band app works on phones, computers, or tablets.  To download the BAND app, search for it in your app store or type in band.us in your browser.  Once you've signed up, you should see an invite to join the Franklin Pond group. If you do not see the group page or have not received an invite link, email Ginny Fairchild.
