Inaugural College Festival Begins!

June 16, 2014: The new College Festival program started this week with the first coaching session by Jun-Ching Lin.  Six college students from UGA, GSU, KSU, and Emory University have been busy preparing a Brahms sextet for two weeks of intensive rehearsing and coaching with Franklin Pond Quartet faculty.  They will then travel to Berry College in Rome, GA, where they will perform the Brahms in a concert with the Franklin Pond Quartet at Barnwell Chapel, Tuesday, July 1st at 7:30.  This concert is free and open to the public.  While they are there, they will also serve as practice coaches for the younger students of the Summer program who are starting their summer with the four-day Berry retreat.
