Didi Stone Tours U.S. as Concertmaster

Didi Stone (FIS 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24) is presently touring with the National Youth Orchestra of the United States as the Concertmaster under the baton of Marin Alsop. They started with a concert in Carnegie Hall and will continue on to concerts in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.

Last May, Didi’s piano trio, the Cypress Trio (also with Ryan Pi and Hailey Culp), won the Grand Prize at the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Competition. In 2023-24, his trio performed the U.S. premier of a work by Jean Sibelius. Didi has won numerous solo awards as well as serving as concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra.
