We owe many thanks to the Fulton County Arts Council for the support they have given us since 2004. They have been instrumental in helping us grow and stay fiscally sound for all these years.
The Fulton County Arts Centers have provided beautiful concert venues and friendly partners for many of our concerts. The Arts Council has been instrumental in sponsoring our Community Concerts and helping us train students, many of whom will be our future teachers. They are supportive not only with money, but with time, energy and work.
In a time of great struggle to keep the arts alive, the Fulton County Arts Council has been front and center in the fight to put money into the arts. I encourage our friends to support Fulton County arts in any way possible. We have many great organizations in our county and we need to help the Arts Council help these organizations to thrive.
Franklin Pond is based in Sandy Springs and we are grateful for all the support we have had from our home town. The Sandy Springs Society has supported us generously with grants and opportunities for performances in Sandy Springs. One of our student quartets played for the dedication of the Peace Pole at the Sandy Springs Library and played the Star Spangled Banner for the opening of one of the Heritage Green Concerts by the Springs. We have played concerts at Huntcliff Summit, Mt. Vernon Towers, and the Sandy Springs Library. Thanks to the generosity of President Peggy Stapleton we gave concerts at Holy Innocents School and the Abernathy Arts Center in partnership with the Fulton County Arts Council. We are proud to call Sandy Springs HOME.
