Thursday, August 4: Canterbury Court

On Thursday, August 4 from 7:30-8:30 p.m., the Franklin Pond Too quartet will give a “Community Concert” at Canterbury Court in the Community Room.  After a mostly classical fare, the violist, Emma DeJarnett has agreed to exchange her viola for a violin and play a couple of bluegrass tunes she has performed all over Georgia.  Talent abounds at Franklin Pond!  The quartet will also play works by composer Michael Kurth who plays string bass in the ASO and was commissioned to compose one of the ten fanfares played by the orchestra last season.
